FKM Rubber is a fluoropolymer elastomer. FKM is chemically like Viton® and possesses the same high resistance to chemicals and temperatures. These qualities make it desirable for use in many high tech markets. FMK has a working temperature of up to 500°F and is resistant to chemicals like TFE and MEK. FKM is a high quality product that meets a wide variety of high tech applications.

Gum Rubber is made in two forms, natural/pure and synthetic. The synthetic is designed for better UV resistance than the natural form. The natural is less resistant and indoor use is recommended. Buna N, also known as, Nitrile rubber is manufactured for its ability to resist petroleum distillates. Nitrile rubber is frequently used in the auto industry where oil resistance is required. Nitrile High grade is also resistant to diesel fuel and other low grade fuels. It is used in fuel tank seals and fuel o-rings. Nitrile rubber works well as a workbench protective top.
